I miss that vacation. good times, man. lets go back, but with melcore instead of the whiny kids who puked in my sleeping bag.
HA. sometimes i look back and i’m like “why did that even happen.” not the trip just everything. my existence at that time. and their existence. which was totally my fault and therefore part of my existence.
this commentary should probably not be public but y’know since when do i care
LET THEM COME. and your existence at that time made me very happy, as it does still :p
(and I don’t think you can really blame yourself for them) people make their own choices…even people as profoundly sub-par as they.
I almost wrote out their combined name and then thought “wow, that sounds like a biblical demon.” then I imagined a plague of the tall-skinny-one with aviators, a sandwich sign for pizza, and a cigarette standing all over egypt dripping disdain on everyone.
Very good times. I’ll never forget the puke in the sleeping bag and our attempts at figuring it all out on the way home. AND…the wonderful photo of us all on the morning of our departure. I’ll drive the nine hours again any day. Of course, I’ll also whine about how tired I am once we get there. AND…jim morrison credit wall. AND…burritos. AND…margaritas. AND…feeding geese. AND…AWESOME.
